Troika vs Dread.......

I found this quite unusual. I use troikas alot and when i looked at this battle report closely i found that my troikas didn't split first. I don't think this has ever happened. Check it out:

You can see that the troika modules fought before the troikas even split! How would that be possible? Bug perhaps?

I fought troikas with appols and the appolos shot before the trokias split also maybe thats the way the battles work when fighting classes against lower classes.Just like the spectre will fire before the fighters kill it.

well now almost nothing wrong here I think.

Actually, besides the fact that the troikas are shown to split after they fire there's nothing wrong with their behaviour.

Don't forget that by the time all of his ships got their turn, only at most 15 of your troikas have split. So technically, the shockwaves, the 5 c2 per dread... all those took place before more than 15 troikas could split. And that's why they didn't

I'd be more freaked out by the fact that only 9 dreads emitted a shockwave out of 10. THAT's a bug for sure

I'm not sure you really got wat i meant. If you look at the detail you see that it says
"73 troika modules vs 1 dreadnought
66 troikas separate into 198 ships"

How could 73 troika modules attack before it has the troikas splitting? It's missing a message. BTW How could it be possible that only 23 troikas split and not display a message and then have the rest of the troikas split? I'm a bit confused. I don't think its a bug but some kind of error in the message

Well, I think that the troika-splitting message is usually one per BR. Why it's after the troika modules, maybe 'cuz after a few troikas splitted, only modules took their turn. So, the BR should look like this:

25 troikas separate into 75 ships
73 troika modules vs 1 dreadnought
66 troikas separate into 198 ships
66 troika modules vs 1 dreadnought

I think that might have something to do with the fact that the troika shuffles the battle (to put the troika-modules before the other troikas, otherwise... )
So technically, check out all your BRs involving troikas and see if there's a second split-message?

I just relized who you fought. It was a meaber of Darkfire Dragons (firedragon). Yeah him and sup19 use the same fleet. Kind of dumb.
