When trying to move ships in travel, I got a message saying class 4 ships are too big to move whilst travelling. This is new, I was able to do it a few weeks ago, and it makes dropping off core drivers with ships much slower, why was it changed? Previously it worked well, and one fleet simply slowed down, if you timed it right you could get a core driver where you wanted within five minutes or so, now its 2 and a half hours, this is not an improvement.

it has to do with the balance of the game. it is important, that it remains still possible and profitable to defend other players.
the defending player must have a chance to react on the attack.

the topic way-points / auto-pilot http://forum.spacetrace.org/viewtopic.php?topic=143&forum=12 could be interesting to read.

Yeah but the only time you really need to do it is when there is a whole bunch of fleets on the planet, and its not practicable to send a ms

Ok, here is the scenario, there is three players with large conventional fleets on a planet. They have too much of each class for an attacking fleet to survive, so you fly over the planet with 2 fleets, and drop off a core driver with a large fleet of interceptors to remove all of the class one ships, then you do the same thing with Kamis, thus scoring but not losing any ms or other.
Well thats what I did anyway, cant do it now.

new knowledge has spread about the galaxy that makes it possible now to move the huge class 4 ships in subspace.

(actually it was a workaround to avoid some bugs - they should be fixed now - do you agree, fred? )
