what about a way to test combinations or to see how exactly works a ship whit an option (in hq for example) whit what you can create combat exercises? here you can create 2 fleets instantly and see how they fight against each other so you can see the result whitout losing time and score
I now create this option requires a lot of job to the programmer but... wherever, let see what people think
BTW: I don't know if this was proposed before, if is this way tell me the forum and thank you for your time

wouldn't the guest account be enough for that, there u can try fleets in 30 min depending of course the ones that try to send the guest account to the bh lol

in the guest account you have to wait the normal time to build ships, and normally somebody arrives and change what you have order to build (that has happen to me a few times)
whit this idea you don't have to wait, you just say what ships have each fleet and press the combat buttom to see inmidiatly the battlereport (of course you can't win or lose points this way) instead of waiting 10 hours to build the ships and 30 min to send them to attack in the guess account or to spend a lot of time to make a lot of research to build a specific fleet combination in the normal game

btw: this also will help to test new ships (the ships that are in planets), also I am sure that the admin has a program like this buttom to test if a new ship has program error or something like that, isn't?  |

well it would be no fun to do all that with no risks involved eh? i mean veterans still learn new stuff as they play so this would take away the fun experimentation of ST

Just test fleet, the points doesn't matter, just have fun... and get experience
Test fleet, make crazy combination and eventually you will develop your own fleet setup... Which can beat certain fleet setup

this function already exists, but there are still some problems, why we canot open that:
1.
some events in the game are triggered by some pages, so if the gamespeed in that testing area is faster than in the real game, then it can happen, that some fleets of some players in the game are moving very fast suddenly.
(maybe this already happened in the past some times)
2.
the battlecalculation is using very much CPU-Power of the server, so if everyone can start batteling there, the server would go down |

i had this option when i was a fleet tester. i made 3 fleets for each race and they still haven t been added to the game
