Plasma Emitters

I've been trying a Wasp/Plasma Emitter combo, but it doesn't seem to be working and I keep losing points on it. I thought that the Emitter would reduce the enemy's class 2 AP to the point where they wouldn't take out my ships while my ships would be fine from the Wasp's AP boost. Help. (battle reports are being buggy, so I can't post it all right now.)

The plasma emitter reduce ALL AP.
Incliding the plus of wasp, so your ships don't attack.
That is the reason?

If you can build spectres use plasma emmiters and shield generators with them.That should do nicely.

from wat it looks like...his destroyers just out numbered yours =) I can explin further if you want , but i'm too lazy at the moment =)

@Blackmagic, something is still wrong with the battlereport, especially since the enemy only lost 83 Destroyer, while Capjbadger has 101 Destroyer.
