commado cordova carrier (class 4 ship)

this carrier holds marrines which can board a class 4 ship and destroy it compleatly stoping emeny fleet movement


attack/life: 0/800
manpower: 360

researchtime: 1 d
buildingtime: 18 h


technology: mycilloids, humans, nanites
needed research:
dark tactics

battle details:
multiplies AP and LP by 0/0 of 4 in the enemy fleet in class the marrines destroyed the offending vessel but some ships are immune against destruction
(battle engine syntax: destroy,enemy,4,the marrines destroyed the offending vessel)

will this destroy a mothership class? anyone knows whta that battle syntax means?

USELESS! This will just get the game stuck, no fun in having your fleets stranded all over the place.

Anyway against doomstar it has no use, unless you fly alone with that ship, otherwise, a single mothership is allready enough to kill a doomstar

And the mantis allready kills class 4.

So i see no extra function this ships brings to the game, i'm sorry but it is rather useless.

Lol it can even detroy one building, but wats the point really, 140pts for attacking a building. Don't like it

@Weylyn, agree with you completely. With the ship in play, everybody will need a fleet with 2 motherships to prevent from being stranded in the enemy base.

Horrible.

shipyard and research center have a trigger_0_destroy, so only TWG and DA can be destroyed.

A mantis works differently because it also kills your class 4. But we have already got the timeslipper.

@doomstar, I think that is the whole purpose of the ship. And you should not post replies like: "Oh this ship will make my current fleet setup more vulnerable or perhaps useless".

@weylyn and doomstar, if you thoguht a bit more you should have thought about the core drivers which can easily remove the need of 2 motherships. But it has a chance of 1 at (1 + x) (x is the number of core drivers) that you fly back with warp 1

lol thatz true but i still think this ship is pretty uncool. i mean it can take out a class4 for only that much mp? and if everyone has their class4s taken out everywhere, that'd get really annoying, doncha think? i mean i guess it has its advantages but it still not a great invention

@Jam, I never said ,"Oh the ship will make my current fleet setup more vulnerable or perhaps useless". What I said was the ship will cause the game to be static (which I believe everybody want to avoid) and in agreement with Weylyn.

As for the idea of Core Driver, that is alright (in my opinion, a little bit impractical). At warp 1 will cause you hours to return to your base from your nearest neighbor. I might as well use a deconstructor. At least that way I have my mp back a lot faster than using Core Driver.
