clone labs (basic research)


the clone labs extend your population growth by 10%. the clones are not perfectly elaborated so with a special technique you have to connect the minds of one manpower at your planet to your clones on each ship. each ship you build needs one extra manpower

the extra connected manpower stay on your homeworld, so if a ship is destroyed in battle you would only loose the usual manpower (and points)

What is your expert advice? To get that extra 10% or not? Is it worthwhile?

you get roughly 110% manpower if you play expensive ships for the rest of the game...

but you will have effective 55% manpower if you want to play cheap ships...
(every fighter will cost 2mp afterwards)

so you get in advantage in some tactics but more then 2/3 of possible tactics are no more effective for you...

i mayself decided to leave it out atm but i think a dozen players allready invented it, maybe they could state their experiences... ?

i was there for 1 day and i made around 2 thousend point from people attacking my fleet with small fleets

what knowledge is needed to create clone-labs?
how is this lab build?
It doesn't appears in the manual or tech-tree, why ?
is this a secret only-masters weapon ?

it is a research that you start by going to the planet. Look in the forum new ships and game updates.

i have a question regarding clone labs, maybe is a bug
uh.. i researched clone labs a couple of days ago.. now everytime i build a probe it cost me 1 mp, when the probe is finished or destroyed, it give me back my mp (no points are won or lost)... this is not normal, is it?
weird space...
