What do you mean? The defensive array was involved in one class battle, so it should have destroyed 1 class3 ship. Unfortunately you cut out the only interesting part of the br. Did the defensive array not destroy a class3 ship?

hmm strange....
It should do 4 class 3, but however it says

But i didn't program it, with me it always destroyed the maximum number (if they were present in the attacking fleet).

Forget the descricptions, you have to read the battlesyntax to understand what a ship (or building) does.

So if enemy got no class 1, and I have, it is not considerd as class 1 subbattle?
same for c2 and c3 ?

the defensive array must be attacked directly so it can work in every battle...
u got ships class 1, 2 n 3, that is why the defensive array only got active when it was attacked by the enemy`s class 4...

also your enemy didnt have any class 1 or 2, if u dont have any class 1, 2 or 3, your defensive array will only destroy 1 ship in class 3 battle (and the rest of the ships will destroy your DA)

the description says only up to 4 ships in class 3!
so if you have luck you will destroy 4 ships other way uo to 4 ships!

Sorry, the anonymous post above is from me.
darkwolf is right and as i said: "forget the description", It´s not explicit (sometimes even wrong).
The DA doesn´t do anything when it doesn´t have its turn.

But it did do something, it shot 1 class 3 instead of 4.
So it had his turn, so still the question why it didn't shoot 4 class 3.

It shot only 1 (as you can see in the syntax which i posted above, for your convenience) class3, because it had only 1 turn. If you don´t have class1,2&3, but your opponent has, the DA shoots 4 times (like cyclopses, apollos & dreads can shoot 3 times, if you don´t use class1&2).
Example:
class1 vs. DA: kills 50/10/1
class2 vs. DA: kills 50/10/1
class3 vs. DA: kills 50/10/1
class4 vs. DA: kills 50/10/1
---------------------------------
In total, the DA kills: 200/40/4

I look at my previos br and ur theory holds ground,

BUT!

I remember from last round:
class 1 vs class 1
bla bla
DA activates in class 1 (up to 50)/(up to 10)/(up to 1)
class 2 vs class 2
bla bla
DA activates in class 2 (up to 50)/(up to 10)/(up to 1)
class 3 vs class 3
bla bla
DA activates in class 3 (up to 50)/(up to 10)/(up to 1)
class 4 vs class 4
bla bla
DA activates in class 4 (up to 50)/(up to 10)/(up to 1)

maybe something was changed, but i'm 100% that it did activate in every class battle!

Tofu is correct.

If the base fleet has all classes it shoots once in class 4.

If a fleet spot is empty it shoots again etc etc. So it is most valuable and most vulnerable when u have nothing in base fleet.

The Defensive Array ONLY destroy ship if it get the turn, the defensive array only attack [b}1[/b] time so it only destroy 1 ship (abusing BBcode)
Because enemy don't have class 1 or class 2

And Lou, maybe your battle report are buggy or your memory is bad

Lol, DarkLim = Spam
But the Defensive Array don't are to get a lot of points, it are a basic defense for your base.
