STCrd stands for SpaceTrace Coords

It is a program which extracts already scanned coords and their names from the SpaceTrace Communication files (just your COM page) and save them to one easy text file.
It sorts the list alphabetical and you can make a fleets_top.js from those coords.

See for more info the readme.txt

This program is ment for those persons in the alliance who have the position of coords manager. But of course you could use it yourself.

Please post your comments and opinions here.

Version 1.1 is made
Updates:
  • now you can search within your created list of coords and names.
  • What typos in the readme and usage text fixed
  • Example of using the program added to the readme.txt
  • BlackHole is automatically added to fleets_top.js

Anyone having trouble using this program?
Or you just don't like it?

Version 1.2
Updates:
  • Search function is NOT anymore case-sensitive
  • Sort the list alphabetical without looking to the case.
Example: Zooi of Zed, alpha of omega
Older version used to sort it like:
    • Zooi of Zed
    • alpha of omega

This version sort it like this:
    • alpha of omega
    • Zooi of Zed

  • Placed a section of how to save your communication file in the readme

Is this program being used? Else I stop develop it any further.

Well, I don't use it because I also don't use the dropdown menu...
But anyway, I think it's cool that people start inventing such things like your program .

Where are the times of only DOS

It is a commandline program.
That means you have to open a dos box and go to the directory you extract stcrd.zip.

To solve steven's problem (and I think many others) I have made a Make.bat
How to use it is written in the readme.txt
(make.bat and readme.txt are included in both files)

I have seperated the source and and the executable.

For those who want only the executable (Recommended for most users):
http://www.gaddim.nl/stcrd.zip
For those who want the source:
http://www.gaddim.nl/stcrd_source.zip

Anyone intersting in making a Windows program of it?

I have also been unsuccessful, but I think my problem may have something to do with the actual downloaded com list, running make.bat gives me an answer number of planets=0

Com.html looks like this ‹x^í}ëvÛFšíïôS ™5¶Ó‰@€¤b*Ë–¯‰ëHêIú¶¼Š@‘€<¸H¢gÍ[—˜×9çή…’IŠBP ÔK¢P(ÄþîßþžÿùÕ§“‹¿¾–Þ]|ü þõå‡÷'Rë Ýþ]=i·_]¼ŠÿÐ=ìH>q;´=—8íöëßZÇzn…S‡}£Ä<þÓwÏC;tèñùŒGT:ñ¦Óȵ –=oÇîØî¥äSgØ:¿øÛ‡×çï^¿¾hIá|F‡Þ„m#Z’åÓñ°„s‡άÙÏQ@}—LéðÚ"!½¢þ“Ñdødâx#âžãùCŸšì¢Úñå<yæãrâ{‘k[VÎŽÚíëëëÀ]cÈ®ñÐó'í™mmk‚ÿöí‰~™MZ’CÇá”øÛ¶:¸@ovë·øG‹²ÃùŸã®m3´øï£I|Uï;ü 'À{ï|é½–DØ}¸õûÕ7¿ßý•½!P)Ä6§+é-Zÿ¶ZÇÏG>Ô )û!$#‡Juœ1M۝ð+e¿³’þ>ò|“âÂ;¸›øP±ð;|3ó/g‹ùJ{:‘߶n'ö¸%%·IÆ{Hî Œ‹móMÌ[·N3ÕŽ‚Oõ± ×·ù]âwê!ßzòØ应;WPý ¶ùøwën䈏‹§]ì®’¿A®¬ÇOÜQ0û)þ÷9IÄ¡áM¹0d¢ïôÝéùëóó÷¯†Ý‘ÖÑÆ´oºŒŸô1Q{]e@;c:î«úøI@ƒ€ÉÏ…ìlIžk8¶Zvp8r"ÿÙÚØsC‰K]Èü|Ø_é‘ܝÝüäÐ

That isn't a html page

Hmm, did you follow the instructions in the readme.txt?
Another way to get your comlist is to save the source of your comlist as com.html.

Get the list.txt into your com-list
--This only has use if you have used more coords than you've already scanned.--

Go to your comlist, click on 'player search' and on that page at 'search for list of players' (at the bottom).

Open you list.txt and copy the everything into the first textbox.

In the seconde textbox use this regular expression:
Code:
/(.+? of .+?)s+(d+/d+/d+)/

Now press 'player search' and press on the next page on 'add selected players' to add them at your comlist.

The links to the Zip files are changed and the readme.txt is changed into a readme.html (included in both zip files)

See for more (including the new links):
