dreadnought (class 3 ship)
this universal battleship was built to deal with every battlesituation. in addition to its normal shot it destroys 25 class 1 and 5 class 2 ships, send out a shockwave that deals one damage to 100 enemy ships and it has a torpedo-interception-system.

yours: 59 ships
class 1:
1 fighter (1/1, 1 MP)
class 2:
20 destroyers (10/10, 8 MP)
1 campaign ship (0/10, 45 MP)
class 3:
6 dreadnoughts (200/500, 375 MP)
30 shock-wave-cruisers (0/100, 65 MP)
class 4:
1 mothership (0/1000, 320 MP)

enemy: 2148 ships
class 1:
1001 fighters (1/1, 1 MP)
1000 nano viruses (0/1, 0 MP)
class 2:
37 destroyers (10/10, 8 MP)
100 nano viruses (0/1, 0 MP)
class 3:
10 nano viruses (0/1, 0 MP)
class 4:
1 transwarp-network (0/100, 0 MP)
1 defensive array (0/500, 0 MP)
1 research center (0/3500, 0 MP)
1 shipyard (0/3500, 0 MP)

- click here to see the complete battlereport -

summary:
enemy losses:
class 1:
14 nano viruses
13 fighters
class 2:
37 destroyers
100 nano viruses
class 3:
10 nano viruses

your losses:
class 1:
1 fighter
class 2:
20 destroyers
1 campaign ship
class 3:
1 dreadnought

score: -272

So why didn't my dreadnoughts destroy the 25 class 1, and 5 class 2 ships they were supposed to?

Quote:
battle details:
modifies AP/LP by 0/-1100 of 1 ship of any ship-type in your own fleet in the same class
battlemessage: "ship destroyed by a nano virus"
(battle engine syntax: mod,self,1,this,all,+,0,-1100,ship destroyed by a nano virus,n)

jams 0 ships in the enemy fleet in the class it fights with and you get back the initiative
(battle engine syntax: jam,enemy,0,this)

self destructs!
(battle engine syntax: sd)

So I think your enemy gets the first turn, so he destroys his own ships and holds the turn because he jams 0 ships. (if you jam a ship you'll hold the turn). When you get the turn, there is nothing left to fight so the class battle is over and the dreadnought doesn't have to fight.

Also look your enemy still has his defensive array.Look at your report it might have took out one of your dreads.Array can mess you up if you send the wrong fleet combo.
